The music scene has been more exciting than ever lately. Different artists have been climbing the charts and selling tons of music putting them on top of charts like Hot 100 and the Billboard 200. The most recent music drops have been “Donda” by Kanye West, “Certified Lover Boy” by Drake, and “Montero” by Lil Nas X. “Montero” is Lil Nas X’s debut album with features including Jack Harlow, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Elton John, and Miley Cyrus. Lil Nas X’s songs “Industry Baby” and “Montero” are both on the Hot 100 coming in at six and thirteen.

Drake has reached star status dropping classics like “Take Care” and “Never Was the Same” in the past. Now when Drake drops music, fans highly anticipate, and he does not upset. Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” sold 613,000 copies the first week and every song was listed on the Hot 100. Many credited artists are featured including Lil Durk, Lil baby, Giveon, Jay-Z, Travis Scott, and rap legend Lil Wayne. Fan favorite single “Way 2 Sexy” is second on Billboards Hot 100. Drake has delivered on multiple occasions for fans and it’s safe to say that he did not fail them this time around either.

Other than albums, there have been a lot of artists dropping new hot singles for the fall. J. Cole and Joyner Lucas team up to produce a new track titled “Your Heart.” In the song, the two talk about relationship problems and some of the mistakes they have made in the past. A song that no one anticipated is Gunna’s new song “Too Easy” featuring rap veteran, Future. On the track, the two boast about their careers and how successful they are. As for the near future, you can expect new music from Meek mill (“Expensive Pain”), Lil Wayne and Rich the Kid (“Trust Fund Babies”), and Young Thug (“Punk”). These anticipated tracks are set to launch this month.
