Joliet Police investigated a man’s body that was found inside of a parked vehicle after receiving a phone call around 1:40 p.m. today.
The body was found on the driver’s side of a blue Chevy Cobalt at the local Dollar General, 916 W. Jefferson Street. Joliet Deputy Police Chief Al Roechner stated, "There are no initial signs of foul play, but we'll have to wait for the autopsy to determine the next step in the investigation."
The man has yet to be identified. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed Will County Coroner’s Office this Tuesday.
