Life Hacks by Mat: Chip Tips

Pringles Hack:

I don’t know about you, but I always have a hard time fitting my hand inside a Pringles can. I don’t have any trouble eating the first few, but once the can is half-empty, what should be a simple snack becomes a dangerous challenge. I end up flipping the can upside-down to get to the remaining chips and consequently spill them all over the place.

Luckily, I found this first life hack that solves the problem of flying chips. All you need is a normal piece of construction paper and a Pringles can. When you first open the can, place the paper vertically inside. Make sure the paper is underneath all the chips. Then, drag the paper back out of the can with all the Pringles on it.

This will create a nice row of chips for consumption. You can eat them all yourself, or share with a friend. This hack was quite simple and effective. Give it a try next time you’ve got some of the stackable snack.

Chip N’ Dip Hack: Why segregate your chips and dip from one another? Next time you’re hosting a party, impress your guests with this fancy trick.

It’s easy. All you need are some chips, a large bowl and a wine glass. If don’t have a wine glass, any long cup should work fine. Though, wine glasses will probably look the best.

Simply place the wine glass in the middle of the bowl and fill the bowl with your favorite chips. Then you can put whatever kind of chip dip you want in the wine glass, and you’re all set.

The end result is a glass of dip gently floating in a pool of chips. It is an elegant way to hold your hors d’oeuvres in one place.

That’s it for Mat’s Life Hacks for this week. Come back next week for even more!
