After recently celebrating their 10-year anniversary of their E! reality television show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the Kardashian-Jenner clan signed a $150 million joint media deal, which includes an extension of their KUWTK contract. According to The Blast, a celebrity news outlet that first reported this news, the $150 million will be distributed among the family members however Kardashian and Jenner women see fit. TMZ reported the family will deliver 5 more seasons at approximately $30 million per season and will also appear in both promotions and specials related to them.
KUWTK is one of the most popular and longest-running reality shows in history. Additionally, the show has produced many spin-offs, including Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Khloé and Lamar, DASH Dolls, Rob & Chyna, Revenge Body with Khloé Kardashian and Life of Kylie. Since the show first premiered in 2007, fans of the Kardashian-Jenner clan have witnessed the good, the bad and the ugly that has occurred in their lives through TV around the world.
“We have aired 13 wildly successful seasons of the franchise as well as 11 spin-offs, and season 14 is off to a strong start,” said an E! spokesperson in a statement to People Magazine. “We are incredibly proud of our partnership with the Kardashians and they remain an important part of the E! family. We look forward to continuing our collaboration for years to come.”
Since their breakthrough with reality television, the family entered the business world with many successful businesses such as Dash Boutique, ShoeDazzle, Kardashian Kollection, Kardashian Kids, Kimoji, Kendall & Kylie, Kylie Cosmetics, Good American and KKW Beauty.
