A.J. Pierzynski on USF's "Exploring Joliet"
As the University of St. Francis prepared to have their 41st annual Brown & Gold Fundraiser, the main headliner of the event, former World Series champion and Chicago White Sox catcher A.J. Pierzynski, hosted a press conference at the Sullivan Center which is featured on the newest episode of Exploring Joliet.
The 19-year veteran of Major League Baseball answered questions about his baseball career including a few questions about that infamous scuffle with Chicago Cubs catcher Michael Barrett. When asked who was his favorite pitcher was to bat against, Pierzynski answered it was former New York Yankee Jon Lester and Arizona Diamondback Zack Greinke. The pitcher he least enjoyed facing was former New York Yankee Mariano Rivera.
