Open House Set for Adult and Transfer Students
The University of St. Francis (USF) is holding its annual Transfer, Adult Degree Completion and Graduate Student Open House. According to www.stfrancis.edu, this event will take place on October 23, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in San Damiano Hall, which is located on the third floor of Motherhouse. This event grants potentially interested transfer, new or current higher education seeking students the opportunity to explore the programs and the endless possibilities that the University of St. Francis offers.
With the university’s centennial year rapidly approaching, now is the perfect time to discover why the University of St. Francis is the right option when deciding to transfer or to pursue higher education. With the 50,000 alumni the university has, and with over 4,000 currently enrolled students, St. Francis has served and continues to serve a massive number of great learners. These learners pursue diverse fields, including the arts and sciences, business, education, nursing and social work. With the numerous majors and minors provided, the University of St. Francis means to welcome new and unique individuals who are determined to pursue their passions and to become an expert in their field of interest. The dedication of both the students and professors makes USF the place to be. The University of St. Francis provides students with the opportunity to develop and grow into the person they are called to be, to become something greater. The benefits of pursuing an education at St. Francis are endless. A few are a lowered tuition for online undergraduate programs by 30% and new graduate certificates that can add to current credentials and be applied toward a graduate degree as Sandra Sloka, USF Director of Graduate/Degree Completion Admissions, states. Make sure to apply! Spring Semester begins in January so there is still time and after attending this event, one would not want to miss out on the opportunity to get a degree from USF.
